Our Client, Chris, had this beautiful vintage millenium topaz ring that was given to her by her mother. It previously had a simple eternity band, and a diamond halo.
She decided that she wanted to update its look, infusing more characterer into it.
Since the gem was clear, we decided to set it against rose gold to have some contrast. And since it was about 6 carats, we had enough surface area to play with.
So we tried a tied diamond approach, but we used black diamonds instead since black goes well with rose gold.
